Forrest Yoga is a practice designed to free up physical and emotional blocks in the body. The practice is founded on five pillars: Breath, Strength, Integrity, Spirit and Going Deeper. It teaches you how to build strength safely, work with injuries, and connect more fully to your Breath. Pose modifications are given to suit all levels of students.

Meet The Instructor
My love of yoga started 42 years ago while in high school. Yoga helped me to manage stress, relax and find ease in my body.
I started teaching Ashtanga Yoga in 2004 after completing a training module with Doug Swenson. Searching out a 200HR Certification, I completed training modules with Simon Park, Shiva Rea and Edward Clark and Body Rolling with Yamuna Zake before finding Forrest Yoga.
In 2010, I completed my 200HR Foundational Training with Ana Forrest. I continued to study under Forrest Yoga Guardians Heidi Sormaz and Denise Hopkins, completing the Forrest Yoga Mentorship Program, the 500HR Certification, the Fresh Yoga Mentorship and two hands-on Assisting Trainings & Certifications.
Internalizing, analyzing and adjusting my asanas has become my favorite pastime. This practices has taught me how to use breath to explore physiological connections, remove emotional blocks and build inner strength. I am passionate about helping my students find that same breath-supported freedom in their bodies.
